On an official visit to strengthen friendship and mutual relations, Engineer Ahmed Kurdi, Director General of the Aleppo Industrial City, received a delegation from the Republic of Turkey headed by the Presidents of MUSIAD, Malatya and Hatay, as well as the Commercial Attaché and a number of businessmen.
The Director General welcomed the delegation, highlighting the challenges faced by Turkish and Syrian industrialists as a result of the war. He reviewed the current situation of the industrial city and the aspirations to enhance cooperation and attract Turkish investors, while affirming full ownership rights for foreign investors.
He noted that 500 facilities have entered production since the city's liberation, with new investment opportunities available following the issuance of the new investment system, which aims to support Syrian industry and restore Aleppo Industrial City to its prestigious position.
The two sides also discussed prospects for cooperation, and Engineer Kurdi led the delegation on a tour of the city.
